Astrid Thomsen, Gitte Preussler and Henriette Spengler were the instructors of the festival. The rehearsals took place at Skt. Josef's School the first two days. From Kildebronde Girl Choir three singers and the choir director were in attendance.

A local newspapir arranged an interview with the girls from Kildebronde, who were wearing the new festival shirts of Folkekirkens Ungdomskor.

The first night was Midsummers Eve, and the rain stopped for just a couple of hours; enough to go and see the bonfire and fireworks in the nearby park.

The work with "The rich man and Lazarus" of Egil Hovland continued at St. Joseph's School. While the singers rehearsed, the choir conductors were having a cours with the Norwegian choir director Kristin Vold Nese.

Roskilde Youth Hostel is situated beautifully at the fjord. Three persons share a room with shower.

Rehearsals and general rehearsal Friday in Roskilde Cathedral, with instruments.

At 9.00 pm began the evening service, consisting of a performance of "The rich man and Lazarus".

At the end of the service, the congregation left the cathedral in procession.

After the service, the team from Kildebronde left directly for home - in a taxi. The distance from Roskilde is not so far.
